Generally the only rule that means anything to me is a Variation on the "Urinal Rule"... Crossing Strip Miners just isn't cool. If someone is mining a spot, go elsewhere, if you're mining a spot and someone won't leave, ask nicely that they do. 3) get on the warnings channel. Listen for movements of 'reds' in areas near, or leading to yours. It's your responsibility to know system names and carry a map. Pack up asap if someone is near. 4) never expect help, but show some appreciation monetarily if you get some.
